A super fun place if you come out to the rooftop during the summer time. If you get there by 9/10pm you miss the long lines and get in for free. The vibes and views are amazing! The drinks are definitely overpriced so beware of that. Iconic views if you're visiting NYC & want to be on a rooftop for the summer.

I visited Mr. Purple for New Years Eve. Hannah and Mark were impeccable. I visited from Australia, and they helped make my experience amazing. I recommend every and anyone to visit. I'm coming back for Hanna's service. It was truly amazing.

I loved the view and the low noise levels. Usually bars are extremely noisy with loud music on the background. The service was decent and so we're the drinks. We watched a beautiful sunset sipping our cocktails.

I stopped by this restaurant on a Friday evening after work to catch up with a friend, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. It was a spontaneous, last-minute choice, but it turned out to be the best one we made. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavors that really hit the spot. But what truly stood out were the drinks. They were absolutely fantastic, crafted with such care and creativity. The service was the highlight of the evening. Kiss was incredibly warm and welcoming, offering the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness. Not only was she kind, but she also gave us spot-on recommendations that made the meal even more memorable. The atmosphere inside was cozy and inviting, while the view from outside added a charming touch to the whole experience. I'm so glad we chose this place, and I'll definitely be returning!

Beautiful views and great drinks, plus a good wine selection. Wasn't here at night, it was mid afternoon so I'm sure I turns into a great and busy bar to hang out at later.

I hung out here several times during my weekend stay at the hotel this past summer. We enjoyed the fantastic rooftop views and the pool. We even came up one night after dinner for the party vibes. It's definitely a younger crowd. Drinks were a but pricey, but not over the top. It is NYC after all. I think they charge a cover for the rooftop party after a certain time, but we didn't pay one - maybe it's free if you're a hotel guest?! Don't quote me on that. Well the one downside is that the music is very loud and when we got back to our room, we could still hear it!

Mr. Purple is located in the lower east side. They have promising views of the city and the outdoor space is pretty large. They also have a gorgeous bar area with ample of seating as well. I recommend reservations for the weekends. Service was attentive and the music was a vibe. The only ding was drinks were pretty pricey $23 and food was $16 and up. Not sure if I can justify the pricing but overall the venue is pretty solid.

If you can get in, it's a nice rooftop bar. An outdoor pool and great views. The service there isn't that great but it is a rooftop bar which is expected. It can get crowded depending on when you go or if you're there for an event.

Date: Friday, January 12th, 2024 Time: around 1:15am Group of: 6 My friends were staying at Indigo and we decided to head up to Mr Purple. First off, the views are amazing from the outdoor patio. To bad it was waaay too cold to hang out there. No heat lamps or anything. We decided to venture inside to drink and dance. *Jameson ($18) x2 *GLASS Prosecco ($18) x2 I got a prosecco since we had been drinking all day. A nice way to finish the night since I needed something lighter than all the dark I had earlier. I believe the jamesons were with ginger, but I'm not 100% sure. I liked the music that night. It was your typical top 40 and hip hop. We danced like we were youngins. It wasn't very crowded or busy, so we were able to take over an area by the bar and just have fun. Definitely worth checking out if in the area.
